Conservation Links on the Web

As you educate yourself about the exciting world of Art Conservation, there are links on the world-wide web that you will find useful.

CoOL: Conservation Online
CoOL is a project of the Preservation Department of Stanford University Libraries and offers a full text library of conservation information, covering a wide spectrum of topics of interest to those involved with the conservation of many different types of materials. It is mostly aimed at the conservation professional, but there is a great deal of information here that would be of interest to a more general market as well.

CAPC: Canadian Association of Professional Conservators
The professional association for the governance of the conservation profession in Canada. This site is offered in both French and English, and contains a particularly good discussion of "What Conservation Is."
